Auf Anhieb fasziniert der 51 Fuss Katamaran der Designkategorie „A“ (Ocean) durch seine sportliche Eleganz, technische Finesse und luxoriöse Ausstattung. Diese Seite kombiniert mit seiner Seetüchtigkeit, Sicherheit und den überragenden Segeleigenschaften machen dieses Boot einzigartig. Das ist ein Partner, der komfortables, entspanntes Segeln von Bucht zu Bucht genauso beherrscht wie die Weltumsegelung auch unter widrigsten Bedingungen.
Cockpit und Steuerstand können zu einem gemeinsamen Bereich geschlossen werden. Navigation und Bedienung der Motoren und des Autopilots erfolgen vom Steuerstand oder auch am Naviplatz im Salon.
Das bietet Wetterschutz und hohe Sicherheit bei schwerem Wetter und Nachtfahrt. Im Inneren, im Cockpit und am Steuerstand kann die Beleuchtung wahlweise mit weissem oder roten Licht erfolgen. Zusätzlich zum Radar steht auch die FLIR Kamera zur Verfügung, die auf allen Plottern auch eine Infrarotsicht der Umgebung ermöglicht.
Das ausschliesslich vom Eigner gesegelte Boot ist konstruiert und ausgestattet für singlehanded sailing, ermöglicht insbesondere durch 3 elektrische Winschen, Leinenführung zum Steuerstand und Fernbedienung der Grosschotwinsch (fieren UND dicht holen) am Steuerstand.
Die Überführung des neuen Bootes von Southampton, Engand über die Biscaya nach Varazze, Italien erfolgte durch den Eigner und nur einer weiteren Person.
Nicht immer kann die Terminplanung von Familie und Freunden lückenlos synchronisiert werden. Im Jahr 2022 wurde die Ausrüstung ergänzt durch zwei Bugstrahlruder und eine Joystick Fernbedienung (Dockmate) für Maschinen und Bugstrahlruder. Das ermöglichte dem Eigner schon etliche Einhand Anlegemanöver längsseits und mit dem Heck zur Pier – mit einem 50 Fuss Katamaran!
Die Innenausstattung in Echtholz und hoher Komfort in allen Bereichen des Schiffs ist Standard bei allen Bluewater 50. Modernes, lichtdurchflutetes Design und eine technische Ausstattung lassen Familien und Crews sofort den Luxus auf See verspüren – egal, ob im Salon, den Cockpits, den Kabinen oder in den Bädern.

The 51-foot catamaran in design category „A“ (Ocean) immediately fascinates with its sporty elegance, technical finesse and luxurious equipment. This combined with its seaworthiness, safety and outstanding sailing characteristics make this boat unique. This is a partner that is just as capable of comfortable, relaxed sailing from bay to bay as it is of sailing around the world, even in the most adverse conditions.
The cockpit and steering position can be combined into a single area. Navigation and operation of the engines and autopilot are carried out from the helm station or from the navigation station in the saloon.
This offers weather protection and a high level of safety in heavy weather and at night. The interior, cockpit and helm station can be illuminated with either white or red light. In addition to the radar, the FLIR camera is also available, which provides an infrared view of the surroundings on all plotters.
The boat, which is sailed exclusively by the owner, is designed and equipped for single-handed sailing, made possible in particular by 3 electric winches, line routing to the helm and remote control of the mainsheet winch (fiddle AND close-hauled) at the helm.
The transfer of the new boat from Southampton, England via the Bay of Biscay to Varazze, Italy was carried out by the owner and just one other person.
It is not always possible to synchronize the schedules of family and friends seamlessly. In 2022, the equipment was supplemented by two bow thrusters and a joystick remote control (Dockmate) for the engines and bow thruster. This has already enabled the owner to perform a number of single-handed mooring maneuvers alongside and with the stern to the pier – with a 50-foot catamaran!
The interior in real wood and a high level of comfort in all areas of the ship is standard on all Bluewater 50s. Modern, light-flooded design and technical equipment allow families and crews to immediately feel the luxury at sea – whether in the saloon, cockpits, cabins or bathrooms.
Owners who are drawn to faraway places will find 2 generators, the watermaker, the automatically switching backup fresh water pump and the on-board diving tank compressor on board.
